Quiet tools for fun and simple life

The trajectory

Simple life starts here

KrazyCapybara is an independent consumer technology review publication based in New York, NY, founded in 2021. We publish hands-on reviews and buying guides covering small gadgets, minimalist phones, 3D printers and prints, and phone accessories — cute, practical tech, explained simply.

We buy the products we review at retail (any loaned product is marked on its review page), live with them in real daily use, and score them on what that use actually feels like. We also attend industry trade events to see upcoming products first-hand and meet the teams building them, so our guides reflect what's coming, not just what's already on shelves.

Hui Jiang

Hui Jiang founded KrazyCapybara in New York, NY in 2021 and runs it day to day: choosing the small gadgets, minimalist phones, 3D printers and accessories to cover, testing every product hands-on, and writing and publishing each review, buying guide and video. Hui's background is in product and technology, and the house style is simple on purpose — cute, practical tech, explained in language anyone can digest.
